It’s a bit complicated. this painting wasn’t ment to look this way as I started to paint it. it was just a study at the begining. I was trying to get a better feeling of this square form and the lovely combination between dark blue, white and red. Although I hang it on my wall for a couple of years. Living with your painting makes you develop a realationship of a wierd kind to them. in this case I hate it eventhough I didn’t put it down and over the years it turnd to be the painting to make me remember that fleeing is not only to escape wars, one should escape violence in many other ereas too, before it’s too late!
